AIR App: Twirl makes the grade
Techcrunch just broke the news that Twirl was purchased by Seemic. This is interesting to me mostly because I’ve been following AIR apps and wondering where they fit in the market place. So far most of the AIR apps I’ve seen are free and are considered somewhat super-widgets. So how’s a guy supposed to earn money if everyone is giving away the software for free? Get acquired by a well funded company I guess.
